Porter has authored numerous books and articles on business strategy, including his landmark book "Competitive Strategy: Techniques for Analyzing Industries and Competitors," which was first published in 1980. In this book, Porter introduced the concept of the Five Forces Framework, which is a tool for analyzing the competitive environment of a company's industry.
Porter's work has also focused on the role of innovation in creating competitive advantage, the importance of corporate social responsibility, and the impact of national policies on a country's competitiveness.
Porter is a highly respected management thinker and has been awarded numerous accolades for his contributions to the field of business strategy. He has also advised numerous governments and companies on issues related to competitiveness and economic development.

Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne are professors of strategy at INSEAD, a leading global business school. They are also the authors of the best-selling book "Blue Ocean Strategy," which has been translated into 44 languages and sold over 4 million copies worldwide.
Central idea of Blue Ocean Strategy is to create uncontested market space by making the competition irrelevant. Kim and Mauborgne argue that companies can achieve this by focusing on creating new markets or "blue oceans" rather than competing in existing markets or "red oceans."
Kim and Mauborgne have advised numerous companies and governments on issues related to strategy and innovation. They have also received numerous accolades for their contributions to the field of business, including being named the world's most influential business thinkers by Thinkers50 in 2019.
